35' Salah is released by a long ball on a breakaway but the Liverpool man's attempt to cut inside Mohamed Tabal is not successful and the ball is intercepted. 

32' Mostafa Mohamed wastes another chance for Egypt! Salah feeds him with a short pass in the area and, although the Galatasaray striker holds off his challenger, his subsequent shot is too weak and is gathered by the keeper.

21' Marmoush wastes a golden chance to put Egypt ahead! He is released by a deft pass from left-back Ahmed Fatouh before rounding the keeper, but his shot from a tight angle misses the target with the goal gaping. 

20' Egypt striker Mostafa Mohamed repeatedly drops deep as Salah takes his place upfront. 

16' Marmoush robs a defender on the edge of the area and feeds Salah, but his attempt to cut inside and shoot is not successful. 

14' A tame deflected shot from Libya goes out for a goal kick. 

13' Omar Marmoush's first touch sees him control a long ball from Amr El-Sulaya on the left, skips past his marker and falls down but the referee waves away his claims for a foul.
