Every Friday, 7pm: “Al-Aragouz wa Khayal Al-Zel” (The Shadow Puppet), a free public performance by clowns in Al-Muaaz Street, presented by Wamda and directed by Nabil Bahgat

Sat 11, 8pm: An exceptional concert by the Cairo Symphony Orchestra featuring oboist Wessam Ahmed, and conducted by Italian maestro Alessandro Crudele. The orchestra performs works by Haydn, Strauss and Tchaikovsky.

Wed 15 and Thurs 16, 8pm: Cairo Steps band performs music by Bassem Darwish, accompanied by the Cairo Opera Orchestra, conducted by maestro Nayeir Nagui. The concert will feature vocalist Dina El-Wedidi, munshid (religious chanter) Sheikh Ehab Younis, and German harpist Evelyn Huber.

Thurs 9, 7pm: Once Upon a Time I Entered a Garden dance performance is presented as part of the Breaking Walls Festival by NUT Dance Company, the performance is organized in collaboration with the Swiss Embassy and the International Organization for Migration, co-produced by the embassy and The Italian Cultural Institute in Cairo, to support women against gender-based violence and to give migrant women the opportunity to express their feeling and share their stories. The performance, created by Hazem Header, tackles the issues of the Egyptian women's society and the harassment, obstacles and the challenges that Egyptian women and girls are facing in the Egyptian society and streets in their daily lives.
