Egypt-based Shatablee — a digital interior design and finishing operations start-up — plans to attain a business volume in the Egyptian real estate market of over EGP one billion during the upcoming FY2022/23, according to the company’s CEO Mostafa Amer.

Amer made his comments on the side-lines of the inauguration of Shatablee’s headquarters in the industrial zone in New Cairo, Egypt on Wednesday as part of its expansion plan in 2022.

He said that the opening took place in record time due to the market’s need for solutions provided by the company to the real estate sector, especially with the advent of the summer and vacation seasons.

The CEO added that the new company’s headquarters includes a dedicated office for Contact Financial Holding — the leading non-banking financial services company in Egypt — so that clients that want to pay in instalments can finish all their contractual agreements immediately and in one place.

Amer also noted that his company aims to bridge the large gap that the real estate market suffers from due to the delay in finishing works for homeowners and also solves the dilemma of reducing the time required and cost while raising the finishing quality standard through an interactive electronic platform characterised by flexibility and operating under the slogan ‘Design your home in Less Than 60 minutes … Move in within 90 days.’

In March, the company announced that it had secured $1.2 million in funding.
