The 29-year old target man – who is on loan from Greek side Olympiacos – netted his eighth goal in the league bringing his tally to 11 goals with Konyaspor in all competitions.
Konyaspor are third on the Turkish table with 67 points, three behind second-placed Fenerbahce. Even if they win against Besiktas next Sunday, they still need Fenerbahce to lose against Yeni Malatyaspor in the final round to finish among the top two who qualify for the Champions League.
Champions Trabzonspor have already secured the title with 80 points.
