A limited number of fans were allowed to attend Egyptian football games in the past two years due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Zamalek are set to face Masry at Alexandria’s Borg El-Arab Stadium on 26 November. A day later Ahly will face Arab Contractors at Ahly WE El-Salam Stadium and Pyramids FC will play against NBE Club.

Smouha had already booked a place in the semi-finals after defeating Suez SC 2-0.

In October, the EFA announced that the final of the 2021/2022 Egypt Cup will be played on 3 February 2023 at Cairo International Stadium, while the semifinals of Egypt's secondary club competition will be played on 16 January 2023.

The White Knights, Zamalek, won the last edition of Egypt Cup (2020/2021), securing their 28th Egypt Cup title after beating archrivals Ahly 2-1 in the final in July.
