Mon 28, 7-9pm: The seven-piece Tarek Raouf Ensemble performs modern and oriental jazz and original compositions by trumpet player and composer Tarek Raouf. An evening of jazz fusion features Tarek Raouf (trumpet); Michael Laouis (trombone); Mina Nasha’t, and Mohamed Labib (saxophone); Sherif Elian (double bass); Hazem Abdel-Kader (drums); and Hany Bedair (percussion).

Wed 30 and Thurs 1 Dec, 7-9pm: A caPop Choir is a semi-acapella group devoted to live performances of popular music from many traditions. This semester they present Broadway, Baby!, a collection of songs from well-known musicals, such as Chicago, Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserable, West Side Story and more. A caPop Choir was founded and directed by Nesma Mahgoub.

Fri 25, 9pm: Singer and songwriter Ahmad Ali El-Haggar performs music inspired by the tradition fused with Jazz and Neo-soul.

Sat 26, 9pm: Jazz concert by Egyptian singer and songwriter Noha Fekry.

Thurs 1, 9pm: Shady Al Qasseer jazz ensemble plays a crossover of modern, modal jazz and ethnic music adding a new dimension in jazz with rich harmonies and ethnic percussions to create a unique jazz experience.

Mon 28, 9pm: Ritmo band features six girls that are obsessed with their own touch of music and their English/Arabic mashups.
