The draw was initially scheduled for Wednesday 16 November in Cairo but the football governing body in the continent postpond the draw one day before the scheduled date.
“The Group Stage draw for the 2022/23 TotalEnergies CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup will be conducted on Monday 12 December 2022 in Cairo, Egypt, “ read a statement on the CAF official website on Thursday.
Cairo giants Ahly and Zamalek secured their place in the CAF Champions League group stage, while Pyramids FC and debutant Future FC are the Egyptian representatives in the Confederation Cup.
