Thurs 1, 7-9pm: A caPop Choir is a semi-acapella group devoted to live performances of popular music from many traditions. This semester they present Broadway, Baby, a collection of songs from well-known musicals, such as Chicago, Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserable, West Side Story and more. A caPop Choir was founded and directed by Nesma Mahgoub.

Wed 7, 7-9pm: Enjoy vocal performances by AUC’s eight music performance majors who sing in various genres ranging from opera, musical theatre, and traditional Arab to pop (Free and open to the public, Proof of vaccination is a must).

Sat 3, 8pm: “The Greatest Symphonies IV” concert by the Cairo Symphony Orchestra, conducted by maestro Hisham Gabr, features Egyptian flutist Ines Abdel-Daim and Finnish flutist Sami Junnonen performing F. Doppler's Concerto for Two Flutes and Orchestra and G. Mahler's Symphony No.5 in C-sharp minor.

Mon 5, 8pm: “An Evening in Tivoli concert is performed by the Cairo Opera Orchestra, conducted by maestro Peter Ettrup Larsen and the Cairo Opera Ballet Company, in cooperation with embassy of Denmark in Cairo. 

Tues 6 and Wed 7, 11am: The Cairo Symphony Orchestra, conducted by maestro Ahmed El-Saedi and featuring pianist Don Louis Wetzel, together with A Cappella Choir present “Fantasia 2000 ” children concerts. They will perform works by the likes of Beethoven, Shostakovich, Elgar and Dukas.  

Thurs 8, 8pm: The National Arab Music Ensemble in a repertoire of classical Arab songs.

Fri 2, 8pm: A concert of classical Arab songs features singer Ghada Alaabsy.  

Sun 4, 8pm: The Egyptian Opera Groups for music, the cello group concert. 

Tues 6, 8pm: Violin and piano recital by Yasser El-Serafy and Amir Awad

Thurs 1 (12pm and 7pm), Sat 3 (3pm and 7pm): For the first time in Egypt the international SAMAJAM interactive music show. Music instruments for all: everyone receives a SAMAJAM music bag full of percussion instruments; kids and adults become collectively the active performing musician of the show; they play altogether more than 80% of the performance; music rhythms, musical theory, melodic scale, body percussion and fascinating beats from several countries.

Sat 3, 9pm: Mosad Ozil is an Egyptian singer, composer and music producer. He has his own original songs and some Arabic traditional songs with very unique and different music arrangements. 

Thurs 8, 9pm: Arabic singing carries the authentic Egyptian identity in the midst of a group of beloved fans and friends performed by oud player Saad Eloud and his band.
