Guinea-Bissau stunned Nigeria 1-0 on Friday to throw Africa Cup of Nations qualifying wide open.
Mama Balde's first-half goal sealed a famous win for the Djurtus, ranked 113th in the world, over the three-time African champions in Abuja.
The shock result blows Group A, with Guinea-Bissau now leading Nigeria by a point at the halfway stage.
Despite boasting Napoli star Victor Osimhen, Nigeria struggled to create chances and were outfought by the tenacious underdogs.
On the other hand, Ivory Coast cruised to a 3-1 win over Comoros.
Ivory Coast were in control from the outset and deservedly led at halftime through Christian Kouame. Borussia Dortmund striker Sebastien Haller doubled Ivory Coast's advantage with a header before Jean-Philippe Krasso added a late third.
Comoros scored a late goal but the victory keeps the Ivory Coast top of Group H. With seven points from three games.
