The Taala song was written for an advertisement for Madinaty, the New Cairo satellite city.

Anghami is the Arab world's leading streaming platform.

Diab released the song’s audio track on his YouTube channel where it has scored more than 350,000 views, placing it on fifth position of trending music videos in Egypt.

Taala was composed by Aziz Elshafey to lyrics by Tamer Hussien.

The new song’s success comes month and a half after Diab released single Btamen Alek (I'm checking on you) which was also the most listened-to song on the Anghami application.

Released just a day prior to Valentine's day (13 February), Btamen Alek topped the lists of the most listened to track in Egypt, the Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Libya, Yemen, Palestine, Algeria, Morocco, Syria, Jordan, Kuwait, the Sultanate of Oman and Iraq.

Diab continues to dominate top spots of Anghami with many songs. By the end of 2022, the 61-year-old artist was announced the most-streamed Arab artist in Anghami history, with 1.3 billion streams. In 2022, he topped Anghami’s most-listened artist's list with nearly 360 million streams, including over 270 million from Egypt alone.

Amr Diab also provided the soundtrack for another of this year's Ramadan ads, singing Thank You for Vodafone Egypt.

Featuring Mohamed Salah, the ad was viewed more than 23 million times on YouTube one week after its release, the highest of any of this year's Ramadan ads. In addition, the ad has exceeded 120 million views across social media platforms - Instagram, Facebook.
