The African Banker Awards committee cited Ezz El-Arab’s integrity, ingenuity, and track record of accomplishments as reasons for granting him the award.

The annual African Banker Awards event was held this year during the African Development Bank’s annual meeting, where pioneering banks and their leaders are awarded and recognized for using the best practices in the continent. 

“This award is a reflection of the hard work and dedication of everyone who has been a part of this journey. I am grateful for their unwavering support and commitment,” the chairman of the private-sector bank said. 

The event brought together key industry players and top government officials from Africa and around the world to honour the achievements of institutions and individuals who have offered significant contributions to the continent’s economic growth and its banking sector.
